DESCRIPTION OF GARLIC ESSENTIAL OIL

Garlic Essential Oil is extracted from roots or vegetable of Allium Sativum or more commonly known as Garlic, through steam distillation. It belongs to the Amaryllidaceae family of plant kingdom and is native to Central Asia and North-eastern Iran. Currently, China is the largest supplier of Garlic with 76% of the world’s total production. Garlic is used worldwide for cooking as well as medicinal purposes. It is used to flavour foods, drinks, making breads, pastas, etc. Apart from its culinary importance, garlic has been used traditionally to treat various health conditions. It is used to treat cold and flu, relieve sore throat and reduce mucus, improve breathing and also treat viral fevers.

Garlic Essential Oil is one of the most powerful Essential Oils with various cosmetic and medicinal benefits. It has a strong, spicy aroma that hits mind and awakens nervous system and reduce lethargy and loss of thought.
