Rose Essential Oil is extracted from the flowers of Rose Centifolia, through Steam Distillation. It belongs to the Rosaceae family of Plantae kingdom and it is a hybrid Shrub. Parent Shrub or Rose is native to Europe and parts of Asia. Also known by the name Cabbage Rose or Provence Rose, it is mainly grown in France; the perfume capital, for its sweet, honey and rosy fragrance which is quite famous in the perfume industry.
