DESCRIPTION OF TEA TREE ESSENTIAL OIL

Tea tree Essential Oil is extracted from the leaves of Melaleuca Alternifolia, through the process of Steam Distillation. It belongs to the Myrtle family; Myrtaceae of plantae kingdom. It is native to Queensland and South Wales in Australia. It has been used by indigenous Australian tribes, for over a century. It is used in Folk medicine and Traditional Medicine as well, for treating cough, cold and fevers. It is a natural cleansing agent and also an insecticide. It was used to repel insects and fleas from farms and barns.

Tea tree Essential Oil has a fresh, medicinal and woody camphoraceous aroma, that can clear congestion and blockage in the nasal and throat area. USES OF TEA TREE ESSENTIAL OIL

Infection Treatment: It is used in making antiseptic creams and gels to treat infections and allergies, especially those targeted to fungal and dry skin infections. It is also used in making wound healing creams, scar removing creams and first aid ointments. It can also be used to prevent infection from happening in open wounds and cuts.
