Pure Ginger Oil for Hair Growth Massage Slimming Warming

Ginger oil is an essential oil extracted from the rhizome (the underground stem) of the ginger plant, Zingiber officinale.

1. Essential Oil (Steam Distilled): This is the most common form in aromatherapy. Steam is passed through fresh or dried ginger root to pull out the volatile oils. It is usually pale yellow to greenish in color and has a fresh, sharp, earthy, and slightly citrusy scent. It does not have a “hot” or spicy taste because the “heat” of ginger (gingerol) is not volatile and remains in the plant material.
2. CO2 Extract (Supercritical Carbon Dioxide): This is a thicker, more viscous extract that is chemically closer to the whole ginger root. It contains both the volatile oils and the “spicy” compounds (gingerol and shogaol). It smells much spicier and more intensely like fresh ginger than the steam-distilled version.
