Frankincense Essential Oil Wholesale for Skin Body Massage Aromatherapy

Frankincense oil, often called ”liquid gold” or ”the king of oils,” is an essential oil steam-distilled from the resinous sap (oleo-gum-resin) of trees from the Boswellia genus, primarily:

• Boswellia sacra (Sacred Frankincense, from Oman/Yemen)
• Boswellia carterii (the most common commercial type)
• Boswellia serrata (Indian Frankincense, also a source of the anti-inflammatory supplement Boswellia)

The trees are scored (tapped), and the milky-white sap that bleeds out hardens into golden tears of resin. These resin tears are then steam-distilled to produce the essential oil.
