DESCRIPTION OF GERANIUM ESSENTIAL OIL

Geranium Essential Oil is extracted from the flowers and leaves of Geranium or also known as Sweet Scented Geranium, through steam distillation method. It is native to South Africa and belongs to the family of Geraniaceae. It is quite popularly cultivated in Europe and used in for perfume and fragrance making. It was also used to make tobacco pipes and used for cooking purposes as well. Geranium teas are also very popular in today’s market.
