1. Sweet Almond Oil – Uses
Best for daily moisturizing, cleansing, and body care.
- Facial moisturizer – Apply 2–3 drops to damp skin after cleansing (suitable for dry, sensitive, normal skin).
- Makeup remover – Massage gently over dry skin, then wipe off with a warm damp cloth.
- Body oil – Apply post-shower on damp skin to lock in moisture.
- Cuticle & nail oil – Massage a drop into each nail bed daily.
- Hair oil – Use as a pre-shampoo treatment: warm a small amount, apply to mid-lengths and ends for 30 minutes before washing.
- Carrier oil – Dilute essential oils (e.g., lavender, tea tree) at 2–3% concentration.
- Stretch mark massage – Massage onto belly, thighs, or breasts during pregnancy (second trimester onward).
2. Rosehip Oil – Uses
Best for anti-aging, scar reduction, and balancing oily/acne-prone skin.
- Night serum – Apply 3–4 drops to clean, toned skin before bed. Do not mix with strong retinoids (use on alternate nights).
- Acne spot treatment – Dab a drop onto blemishes and healing breakouts.
- Scar & hyperpigmentation treatment – Massage gently into old scars, acne marks, or sunspots twice daily for at least 8–12 weeks.
- Under-eye treatment – Pat a tiny drop under eyes to help with dark circles and fine lines.
- Lip oil – Apply a drop to dry, chapped lips.
- Mix with moisturizer – Add 1–2 drops to your regular face cream for an antioxidant boost.
- Cuticle repair – Use on dry, peeling cuticles (especially effective after gel manicures).
3. Avocado Oil – Uses
Best for intensive repair, very dry/mature skin, and deep hair conditioning.
- Intensive night treatment – Apply 2–3 drops to dry areas (cheeks, elbows, knees) or mix 1 drop into a rich night cream.
- Hair mask – Warm 1–2 tablespoons, apply from mid-length to ends, wrap hair in a warm towel for 30–60 minutes, then shampoo twice.
- Scalp treatment – Massage into dry, flaky scalp (unless you have seborrheic dermatitis/dandruff – then avoid).
- Cracked heel & elbow repair – Apply thick layer before bed, cover with cotton socks or sleeves.
- Post-sun or windburn relief – Gently smooth onto irritated, peeling skin.
- Lip balm base – Combine with beeswax and a little sweet almond oil for a DIY balm.
- Cuticle pusher – Use a drop to soften cuticles before manicure.
