DESCRIPTION OF NEROLI ESSENTIAL OIL

Neroli Essential Oil is extracted from the flowers of Bitter orange tree, through the process of Steam Distillation. It is native to Southeast Asia and belongs to the Rutaceae family of plants. It is also known by the name Orange Blossom Oil, and quite famous in perfume making industry. Bitter orange fruit has been used for medicinal and herbal purposes, butthere is less credibility regarding that. On the other hand, Neroli Essential oil has been proven worthful in many different areas of skin and medicinal use.

Neroli Essential Oil has a very floral, fresh and citrusy scent, which refreshes mind and creates a relaxed environment. That is why it is popular in Aromatherapy to treat Anxiety and Depression. It is also used in Diffusers to lower high blood pressure and improve blood circulation. Neroli Essential oil has healing and Anti-microbial properties, which is why it is an excellent anti-acne and anti- ageing agent. It is very popular in skin care industry for treating acne breakouts and preventing blemishes. It is also used to treat dandruff, itchy scalp, lice, split ends and for cleaning the scalp; it is added to hair care products for such benefits. USES OF NEROLI ESSENTIAL OIL

Skin Care Products: It is used in making skin care products especially anti-acne treatment. It removes acne causing bacteria from the skin and also removes pimples, blackheads and blemishes, and gives skin a clear and glowing appearance. It is also used in making anti-scar creams and marks lightening gels. Its astringent properties and richness of anti-oxidants are used in making anti-ageing creams and treatments.
